Jeannie115 - I took your advice!!

Shanna,  I'll be at St. V's.  When I was at the support group last night, folks were introducing themselves and giving their surgery dates.  There was a lady there that has my surgeon with a surgery date in mid December.  So, I would think that I probably will get a date in late December to mid January.  We were told at the seminar that the surgery dates are usually 3-4 months out because Drs. Inman and Evanson are so busy.

If we don't meet up ahead of time, we will definitely meet at your Pampered Chef party.  I'm coming to that come hell or high water!!  LOL

Woo hoo!  That's great news.  Won't be long before you get your date and start the pre-op testing and stuff.  Time will FLY by now!!  Did you end up going to the Plainfield support group last night?  If so, what did you think?

Sheila, how did your appointment with the surgeon go?? 

I did go to the Plainfield support group.  A lot of people were there!  I really enjoyed it, and I will definitely go to that one again.  I understand that the leader, Deb, also does the Speedway group.  I might hit that one too, although they won't have one this month due to a scheduling conflict at the Speedway library.  A lot of folks from the Speedway group were there last night because of it.  I met a lot of great folks!

Oh, and I actually got the approval letter from BC in the mail today!  They have no conditions on their approval other than their approval is good for 6 months, as long as there is no improvement in my condition during this time.  I'm on my way!

Hey christie! I told ya I would find ya on here! I was from the Plainfield group:0) And I'm always going to remember you because you were the girl with the most beautiful hair color in the world, and I wish I had the skin tone like you to pull it off!  I put a request in to add ya on my friend list.  Let me know when you get a surgery date! My husband had Dr. Inman, and his surgery isn't until february 4th....it can be 4 or 5 months after you are approved. Mine was too. I had almost 6 months to wait, craziness, but it really does fly by!

Awww... shucks!    I'm glad you found me on here, and I was sure glad to meet you and your husband!

I'll be sure to let you and everyone else know when I get a surgery date!  I have Dr. Evanson - he's in with Dr. Inman, so if Dr. Inman is that far out, Dr. E probably is too....  :( 

Do you usually go to the Plainfield group?  It was my first one, and I really enjoyed it, and meeting you guys.  It was great!
