Thank you. What I was told last..and if they don't change their minds is that if this test shows that my intestines are NOT behaving correctly (they may be thinking that there is a blockage when there isn't), they can give me a shot to correct it and then continue as if the test showed all was normal. If the test is normal (or corrected), then he is recommending that Dr. Gupta close up my abdominal wall ASAP. It is believed that my intestines distend & everything simply because they can.

When Dr. Gupta 'fixed' the hernia that I had last March, she put a large piece of mesh over the opening of the abdominal wall instead of closing up the abdominal wall. I believe she did that because of how large the opening was/is. That mesh does not have the firmness that your abdominal wall has so it does not hold back my intestines at all. I think the mesh would be a very good thing to use on a much smaller opening but the size of mine...it's like expecting a plastic garbage bag to hold the shape of a square as well as a box does. It's just not going to happen. I wouldn't be surprised at all though if when she closes the abdominal wall and then attach a piece of mesh over the incision line of the wall to reinforce it until it has a chance to heal up.

So...either way with the outcome of Tuesday's test, I expect surgery to get scheduled to fix me. Because of commitments at work, I will be trying to get it no earlier than Feb. 1st. We are getting a new revision of a pc package and I'm responsible of being sure 5 areas (not just ours) gets it installed correctly with no issues. I am going to talk with Dr. Bergman at my next appointment and see if she would be willing in ~6 months or so to clean up the scarring on my belly and possibly get the girls done at the same time. Insurance should cover the scarring portion. I think I'm going to tell her not to worry about saving my belly button. The scars are so close to it anyway so I think she'd be able to get a cleaner line if it weren't in the way...and besides, a bikini is NOT in my future...especially with a scar going down the middle of my front.

Are you coming to the clothing exchange? You should see all the HUGE garbage bags of clothes that I emptied out of Jean's closets!! And I haven't even started on her shoes or coats yet! I am going to have Jay's gf go through them but there is so much that I may need Floyd & Brenda to come by so we can put part of it in their truck in addition to filling up mine!

Are you still going to be in town Monday? I can eat a normal dinner Monday night....but Tuesday would be out for me because of the test. Let me know if Monday would work for you...k? What kiind of food do you guys prefer? The earliest we could make it would probably be ~6.

They say Neil has to work Monday so we are coming up at 6 on Teusday morning.
What about Wenesday sometime which ever is good for you.

Neil is not picky at all,he is up for anything except sushi..
As you know im not from up there so everything is new to us.
I love to just sit and talk so somewhere with a  big huge round table.lol
