Thanks and update

I wanted to thank everyone who has helped me by reading and answering my questions.  I live two hours from my bariatric center and am unable to attend the support meetings like I want. I thought I'd update you all too!

As far as my original post about my feeling hungry, well I'm somewhat happy to say that is totally gone.  However, I now have to force myself to eat.  I've gone from one extreme to another. lol.  I always have to be difficult I suppose.  I just keep trying to push fluids and protein, and hope I can keep on keeping on.

My issues with my depression and being emotional have been addressed.  My PCP prescribed me with some antidepressants to try for  awhile.  I also go back to work tomorrow so it will be nice to get out and see my friends and feel useful again.

I really am struggling however with recipies of good, high protein, low carb meals that my whole family can enjoy.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate you all so much, I feel like a newborn trying to learn all over again, and your guidance is a Godsend.

I am down 30 lbs in 3 weeks, and can't wait to see what the future brings.

Thanks again, Michelle

Hi Michelle!  Have you checked out the recipes forum?  They have some good recipes over there.  Also go to Eggface's blog - The World According to Eggface.  Shelly has some fantastic recipes on her blog.  I've tried a couple so far and they're great.  She posts on the recipes forum too.

Great job on the weight loss so far!!

Do you feel you have enough energy to go back to work so soon?  I wonder about that after my RNY on 03/24...Dr.  Huse told me I could go back in two weeks IF I have enough energy.

Wow 30 pounds - congrats, you are on your way...I hope I do as well as you are doing.

I took off two weeks from work. My first week back I did half days, after that I was back to the grind.
