Good morning all!I do hope your day is starting off well. Mine isn't doing too bad. I got sleep last night so that alone can make for a better day's start. I will probably be working with IT some today to try to figure out a co-workers instrument issue so that should make the day go by just a little more quickly. I was talking with one of the IT guys yesterday and I told him about Mayo. This guy is quite large and has to use a scooter...so he's been following my problems pretty close. Which..is sad. As much as I try to be a positive role model for post-ops, I'm afraid I was a negative one for him. He sees me having all of these problems and it scares the crap out of him. Anyway, he nailed my emotions on the head. He got really quiet for a few minutes and then said 'that would be scary because of the what if's'. EXACTLY. We all like to try to think postively but those who know me knows that I HAVE TO consider the 'what if's' because I have been bitten by them more than once. So..I'm trying to keep my mind of the 'what if's'!

PS....I hope OH isn't screwing up for you. I'm having a hard time getting this to submit! GRRRRR

Good morning fellow losers!

I am off to a day of appointments with Kelli.  I hope to have a quality day of time with her regardless of the schedule.  I have things to get done around the house because I will NOT be doing housework this weekend.  It is girl time!!!  Gail and I are gonna hang out together.  Then Sunday after church it will be bowling alley!  So I want to get everything done so we can enjoy our time together.

I had a great meeting last night in Wabash.  It was great to meet Pam!  Thanks for the swimsuit!  It is sooo cute and I love it.  There were some of my girls that are from Marion that went up there for the meeting which was great.  And Peggy went with me.  I am so glad to be able to meet new people in the area and let them know about OH.  Hopefully we will get some new members on here too.  The more the merrier.

Have a wonderful hump day!

Good morning. Busy morning here today. I have to go to work for a few minutes to get my gaming badge renewed, and then it is off to Maria C.'s to pick up a tote of clothes to take to Lee Ann's today.  Then is it off to Salem to meet Lee Ann for lunch. Good quality "girl time" today.  Have clothes to drop off there, and then it is off and running again!
Glad to hear that you got some sleep finally, Sherri.  Hang in there, only a little bit longer.
Take care and have a great day!

Good Morning!!  I know what you mean about what if's Sherri. Life is full of what if's. As a mother you worry about them constantly. As an individual life is full of choices and what if's and there are times it can be hard to make a decision because of that what if fear factor. I have always said, "take one day at a time as if its your last one", but this economy is so bad and I came to work today happy and found out that my job might be in jeopardy. They have asked me if I would be willing to go down to 32 hours instead of 40. I can't loose my fulltime status because I carry the insurance coverage on my husband and daughter. He has a job now but insurance will not kick in for another 3 months. Not sure when changes will take place here but I am so glad that I had my surgery and have lost enough weight to be capable of going somewhere else and working. I never wanted to believe that people are so prejudice against the overweight population but, it is true and I have seen it more and more the last few years. I am THANKFUL that I do not have health issues since the surgery and still am scared about what if's someday down the road but, I just have to focus on that one day at a time and it gets me through today. When tomorrow gets here I will tackle that too. I love that saying, yesterday is gone, today is a gift and tomorrow is a mystery.
I keep my prayers and my faith and a positive attitude close at hand and I know I will handle anything that comes my way. I just don't always know how
Have a good day all.
God Bless
Be Well  : )

Your gonna be just fine and all in all.......this surgery is the bomb and wonderful for the young ones for sure....I would do the band if i were younger and just now looking into it...(band was fairly new when i was exploring and i passed on that)

today being hump day i am calling my ins agent...no one has been here from them and i am over this )long story short we had a leak and it was a small leak that i suppose leaked for some time till all of a sudden BAM water was even coming out of the electrial outlets..looked like something you would see in a cartoon....never saw anything like it....and since friday i have had these huge fans and machines going and i am over it....I guess since we have a larger than  normal size house and the damage is way worse than one would think it would be...but i am over trying to walk into a bath room around this huge huge machine to sit on the pot...and never mind walking bare foot on nails...i am over it at least come do my bath rooms please....then they left a bag with wet stuff in it they were to have taken to be cleaned been sitting in a plactic bag since friday UCKERS...i do not want it...no thank you...and i had bags of clothes to ever get to an exchange....plus summer clothes in suit cases....(the water leaked down to a staorage room in the basement area) ggggggggrrrrrr i am over all of this... all this from the water hose to the ice maker...unreal who would have thought??????

Angie,

I can't believe that the hose for your ice maker was inside your wall. I've never had one to be. That's fortunate since I've had the hose leak on me before. The water had ran under the fridge...and when I opened the fridge, got a nice little shock. That made us start looking for the reason and found the hose split. I would be one ticked off person if I were in your shoes instead!  I hope they get you taken care of soon. It sounds like you are going to need WAY more than just flooring!

I hope you're still coming Sunday. It'd be terrific to see you again!

Sherri

oh the hose was not in the wall at all.....it was outside the wall..crazy i know but they say water will do this...goes where ever...looking at both bath rooms being redone....floors and tubs and showers coming out and new floor and  there in the kitchen ...everything along that wall along with if i am really really really lucky all new cabinets i will have to pay for the counter top....unless i want to use the old one..NOT....so its gonna happen something i am hoping with the storms is why they are behind...i called my agent and they are looking into it and sorry...ok..get my bath room floors done so i do not have to walk on nails...
then down stairs the carpet in the family room was pulled up and my smart butt did not even think about the nail strip so what did i walk on...i find all the nails and i need to remember SHOES were made for a reason...but i am so use to being bare foot...i am inside ya know..lol...we may pay for some other up grades along the way but thats ok...cos this house needs much updating....

Oh sweetheart do i feel your pain.
On Feb 13 th we had a pressure vavle blow off in our laundry room in the basement and everything was ruint, not much salvageable.
We walked downstairs into 6-8 inches of water and forgot their was electricity going thru it(must have gaurdian angels) we waded thru the water for a couple of hours til we got the standing water out.
We opened the 2 doors and the outside dog took off for the hills geuss he had never seen that much water at one time.lol
But the insurance sent a company in and we have been at their bek and call since the 13 th hurry and do nothing and the day i came home from the hosp  on the 2nd the smell was bad geuss what we had mold i tore them a new one and told them i gave the insu permission to hire you and i can fire you well geuss what its almost done  almost 50,000 in damages.
So sweetie i feel you and im so glad i had friggin insurance hate to try to do it myself.
I got new walls and carpet and some new furniture but i so wi**** would have never happened ,i found reasons to stay gone also my oldest has 2 rooms down there and he lost almost everything and he has to live upstairs with us and he says he is homeless and has nowhere to go and nothing to take .lol
He hasnt turned his insurance claim in yet.
but whenever you cant take it just think woo weee new cabinets lol.
huggs to you
