Went to the Va today

The nurses were busy getting him comfy...i am not sure he was aware of my being there...Terry was gone and I did not stay long at all with him, they had been in there some time before i went in...so sorry i missed you Terry..I am going to say the nurses were very caring for him..I know when ED was in there in Sept, they are awesome...Ed has a dr appointment there tomorrow and if I go I will stop back in...Awesome to put a face with the prayers...but so sorry i missed Terry...
I actually want to think he knew i was there, but i could be mistaken.....I told him this is not right, this is not the way it is suppose to be and the nurses said he needed his rehab and to go home..they also were very caring about his music he was listening to so he could hear it...

But also made me stop and think at the risk we all have taken..and knowing any number of things could have taken place... i was so unhappy with myself i was willing to go the distance...and I was lucky....And I thank you God...

So sorry you missed Terry ,but it is great you stopped in to check on them .
I know Terry will appreciate it.
I think we all know there are risks involved but with me they gave me 6 mths if i didnt have the surgery so either way i was in trouble,but im so glad i done it and im here and feel so much better and i can tell others and i to thank God for pulling me thru.

So sorry I missed you.  I did get your note though.  Thanks so much for coming.  I had to go home and wait for the Lowe's delivery man to deliver the generator that we have to have installed for all of Lyn's medical equipment in case the electricity goes out.

Lyn is supposed to come home tomorrow.  Will update more when I know for sure.

I am so sorry i did not time it or check with you before i came...but it was also great to check him out and let him know it is not suppose to be this way...goodness....i hate this for you both...since i had not seen him before it was hard to know if he knew i was there or not....though i believe he followed the nurse as she  moved...

Now will you have help at home?  I would be of no help to you other than i can hook him up to the Iv's....I know when ed came home nurses came and did things to show me what to do..but ed was mobil and he was able to get to dr apps and sometimes they would come and draw his blood...keep us updated
