Shanna I'm so glad to hear he's okay! How scary. Sorry bout your furbaby too..

The Xanax could be making him more quiet than normal as well as the shock from everything. When I have had to take Xanax for my nerves, DH and my mom know it because I'm quiet and don't say anything hardly at all. I think it's all part of just being mellowed out.

OH Shanna,  I am so sorry for your loss of Delilah but the fact that Tyler is ok is AMAZING. You tell him not to beat himself up because he is blessed by God. My son totalled his fathers truck when he was 16. I received that call that every mother doesn't want to get. They had no idea if he was ok yet and my ex had called me to tell me about his accident. I drove to the hospital in hysterics (well, my husband Bill drove me). He ended up spending a week in the hospital due to head lacerations and he had to have his left knee rebuilt because he completely tore 3 out of the 4 ligaments in it and He is ok today but, he suffered such depression afterwards and because of his pain level he was on some strong meds and they had a hard time weening him off of them. He blamed himself so much because he fell asleep at the wheel after taking his girlfriend home from his dads house. He is ok today but, it sure took him a long time physically and mentally. I remember that he just stopped talking to everyone and would look out into space with this blank stare. He also was afraid to drive for quite a long time too. It will get better.
God Bless you all.

Be Well  : )
