I posted on the wrong board earlier today , so will try again. The dietician has told me to find out which protein drink I like now, before the surgery. She gave me a packet of unjust? chocolate, which didn't taste to bad . Has to be ordered on line though. What are some of your favorites and where can you buy them? Many thanks and blessings to all.

Hi Janice, Like the other poster I like the Atkins Advantage. After surgery it was the only one I could tolerate. Be careful though and don't get too caught up in what you like now. Chances are that after surgery you may not like it at all! I had several samples sent to me so after surgery I was able to experiment with what I could handle and what I could not. To this day I still like the Atkins better than any of them!

Your nutritionist probably gave you unjury which is an excellent protein drink. I used it for about a month after surgery. I used the unflavored and mixed it with Carnation Instant Breakfast and milk. I loved that, but it did get too expensive for me. A lot of people on here recommend Body Fortress Whey Protein. You can get it at Wal Mart, Target, and even Kroger. It is a 2 lb. container for like $12. It will last you forever. It comes in chocolate and vanilla and tastes great. I switched to save money. Those are the two kinds I would recommend the most. I tried a bunch of brands before surgery and just wasn't impressed. I am very picky and had to find something that I could drink everyday. These are brands that I can. Best of luck to you. If I can help with anything else, let me know. Sara

Hi Janice, I have tried a few, and the only one I like now is Body Fortress Whey Protein, Chocolate. From Wal-mart, It's like $11.97. My husband gets Fat -free swiss miss, hot chocolate, and adds it to that, then he puts in a big tablespoon of fat free coolwhip, it's pretty good on these cold mornings! Leatha
