400 Mile Yard Sale/450 Mile Yard Sale/Hillbilly Days

Is anyone planning to go to the 400 Mile Yard Sale across KY on May 31 - June 3? How about the 450 Mile Yard Sale from Covington, KY to Gadsden, AL on August 2 - 5? And, last but not least, Hillbilly Days in Pikeville from April 19 - 21? I work in Pikeville, so Hillbilly Days is a parking nighmare for me, but I should be around on the 19th if anyone is coming this way. I've been to the 450 Mile Yard Sale two years, but missed last year. I'm going to try to attend this year. April

I've never heard of any of them. How do I find out more information?

All these are great events, but I LOVE the yard sales! Another site if you're into auctions is www.auctionzip.com. You can enter your zip code and find auctions in your area. I found an awesome one in Grayson, KY back in the summer of 2006. I filled up my car with stuff that I bought there. And I'm still kicking myself for not buying a table & chairs set. It would have required the use of a U-Haul, but it would have been worth it!

Hi April, I've heard of the yard sale that runs from Kentucky to Alabama.....but didn't know about the others. My aunt and uncle bought a beautiful antique dining room set from the KY-AL yard sale last year for next to nothing. I might have to give it a whirl this year. A friend of mine is addicted to yard sales....so I know she'd go with me! Thanks for the info! Chris
