Samaritan Hospital

Has anyone had surgery w/Dr Bolar @ Samaritan? I read so many good things about Georgetown, I'd like to read some good things about Samaritan.

I myself would like to know that. I am waiting on insurance approval with DR Bolar. My mother-in-law had her surgery at Georgetown and loved it there. When is your surgery date and how long did approval take?

My surgery was 4/21 with Dr. Bolar at Samaritan. I was concerned because I had heard good things about Georgetown Hostpital and was looking forward to having my surgery there. The surgery and stay went fine. Nursing staff was great. The only unpleasant experiences were with a snippy person in patient registration and getting a tiny gown to wear for xrays during my pre-op testing. (ask for a larger gown, they have them). Things should go even more smoothly now, they have hired a bariatric co-ordinator, placed more staff and had training. best wishes, Vivian
