Anyone else???

Hi Adrian I am SOOO sick of this crap! No, I've not heard anything yet. I called Humana just a little bit ago, and talked to MaryAnn (another nurse). She said that Shina's office called them on 11/3, and she also saw where I called. She said that the provider has to call. I said which provider? She said who's doing the surgery? I said Dr. Shina. She said well, his office needs to call us and talk to us. She asked me had I done everything that they required? I told her that all except for the 6 mo diet history, which I feel I shouldn't have to do, since my LOMN was sent in BEFORE they changed the policy. She said that as far as she knew, they hadn't changed it, that she isn't aware that a diet history was required. OMG...how can this be happening? I told her that I think I should be grandfathered in, and she said she didn't know about that, but that she'd call Dr. Shina's office and call me back. I was told on 11/3 that it takes about 2 days to get an approval/denial for the precert screening, and it's already been 4, and still nothing. I am so sick of this **** and I'm ready to say the hell with it. IF they do deny it, I am very seriously considering contacting obesitylawyer.com and having him fight for me. Anything new with you?
