Clear protein is Isopure....40 grams per bottle- kinda large. you can get it at GNC and is much better cold.
I had RNY a year and a week ago, please feel free to contact me and ask any questions you may have.

I'm glad you are home and feeling reasonably well. I'm not sure how long you are on clears...mine will only be 2 days post-op. The told me that in those two days not to worry too much about the protein, but to make sure you stay hydrated. One day three when I go to full liquids is when I start the protein shakes.
Take it easy and get well!

Topic: Update
Well I got home today! I am very sore but not really alot of pain. Really jumpy with every little pain I feel wondering if that is normal. Struggling with clear liquids but he said I could do some protein shakes. I am going to try those tomorrow. I think I have a little buyers remorse at this point. Keep wondering if I can do this but that appears to be normal according to the boards. Anyone out there have a recommendation of protein while you are on the clear liquids? Will update again soon.

I forgot to mention TJ Maxx on Nicholasville Rd. I never have any luck finding pants there, but sometimes I get lucky with blouses.

I completely forgot about Plato's Closet actually. I went there a few years ago and they didn't have much for larger women at that point. I'll have to check it out now and see if they have a bigger selection for us fluffy ladies.

Hey!
I haven't had this problem yet, but I can't wait.
Still dropping through the sizes in my closet. I've never been there, but have you tried Plato's Closet? I'm currently in an 18, but I don't know if they would have much in that size.
When I need to I plan on hitting the Goodwill near Hartland. It's small, but it's a place to start. I think there is also one at Brannon Crossing that is a little bigger.
Good luck, and keep me posted if you find someplace that works for ya!

Topic: Curious about clothes
I'm running out of clothes and the money to buy new ones! Lol! I know that most of us have this problem and was just curious if anyone has any suggestions for me. I've went to several Goodwills but I don't seem to have much luck finding clothes in my size which is about a 14/16 in pants and L/XL in tops (this week at least). I'm living in Lexington and I don't know if I'm just going to the wrong Goodwills or on the wrong day. Any suggestions from my fellow Lexingtonians?
