Can anybody share with me the protocol Drs. Weiss and Oldham follow for VSG pre-op? I'm hearing mixed reviews. Your assistance in rendering clairity would be most appreciated.

Hi! I am in Winchester. Dr. Sonnanstine did my surgery too in November. I am down 71 lbs from my surgery date and 117 lbs from my highest weight. Hope everything is going well for you.

I really hope he doesn't leave KY. When I went to his seminar he said he is not going to leave, so I'm holding him to it

I saw Dr. Husted today an he stated that he does not know where he will be going but will update his website when he knows. He is not doing any surgeries now at Lake Cumberland Hospital. He is planning on finding another hospital and continue to perform the DS and other bariatric surgeries.
He told me that he would be glad to answer any of my questions and review my labs in the future and if I wanted to continue to see him he would but for me this would depends on the location of his new practice.

I'm really shocked he's not doing DS or Vergito anymore, especially since he played such a big role in designing the surgery.
