On the days that I can't get to the gym, there's nothin' like movin' at home. I like Body Electric too and use that as a great warm-up. The main thing is "move it & lose it"! Always good to communicate with you! Happy Wednesday! Since retiring, I'm more selective in spending. A new gym opened up in town but it's $75 per month that I don't want to spend and DH would rather I workout at home. He doesn't workout at all. LOL

What's been you experience?
Monday B. 3 oz. oatmeal, 1 big tsp. of brown sugar, 2 c. hot tea
L. met an old friend for lunch at Applebees, French Onion Soup, took the salad home
D. Healthy Choice Chicken, Potatos, Asparagus, 1/2 portion
Snax: mini bag popcorn, Yoplait Key Lime Whipps
Overall a good day.
Footnote: I have known Linda R. for 58 years, making her my oldest friend. She actually remembers the day we met, back when we were 4 years old. (She's such a smartie) Over the years, we have tried to stay in touch. Now that I'm retired & she is semi-retired, we get together every couple of months, usually with 2 or 3 other old friends. Growing up, we all went to church together, went to same HS, and were in each others weddings. I am blessed with many friends, but these life-long friends from years go by are very treasured... My point, hold on to those old friendships & don't let them slip away. My "old" friends have been so supportive through the years & have loved me at size 12 & 24, & everywhere in between. Be friendly, make & keep your friends & you will be glad you did!

I knew it was too soon to go back to Chinese. Did well until it came to dessert. The cookies did not win but the cake and ice cream did. When I got home did not do much better. I think the hidden sabatour is coming out. I will get strick with myself Tues - Fri. I will relax when I board ship on Sat but I've vowed to myself to eat smarter than last cruise which added ten pounds. Here's what I ate yesterday. Went over my own limits in everythiing just by choosing unwisely not portion size. It can happen so easily when you don't plan.Yesterday's damage.

Thanks!
For those who don't know, an NSV is a "Non-Scale Victory". This morning, I had one- Went to get ready for the day, and pulled out a pair of Size 16 slacks to wear. The last time I wore them, a couple of months ago, they were too tight. NOW, they fit beautifully! I do believe it's the exercise that helped me get into these pants. Tiny? No, but compared to the fact that I was bustin' out of size 24 just 3 years ago says a lot for Exercise & Weight Loss Surgery! Thankful for the NSVs of life! Woo-Hoo!
