Topic: RE: Last minute questions

My lapband surgery is scheduled for Friday. I meet with my surgeon Wednesday. Like you, I am not really scared, just kinda nervous. I have been trying to get this surgery for quite some time. Now that I have been approved, it's kinda surreal. Wishing you the best and a quick recovery.  :)

Topic: Sunday - What Did U Eat Yesterday?
Ok.  The scale did not move last week so must be something I'm doing.  Decided to get on the protein train cause I need help catching up to every one else that's losing.  I know eating more protein and less carbs will get the weight off even if I eat more calories.  Guess that's just how my body works.  Got busy and did not exercise yesterday but back on track today.
Here's what I ate yesterday, what bout u?

jla74 I use Fitday.com.  There are many others but I started with this one and loaded in all my foods as purchased so its too much trouble to change.  Anyway I'm old and the only change I want right now is for my weight drop.  LOL

Do you use a special program to  post what you are eating and the  nutrients?  I am having problems losing and would like to start posting to see if it would help me be more accountable.  I like the way you post and the way it includes the nutrients.

Good to see you up & at 'em this morning, Z.  Friday was the most normal day I've had in over 2 weeks- Woo-hoo! Discovered Zumba on Youtube and started my Friday morning movin' around, which I plan to do again after this post.
Friday B- 1 egg over light, 1 piece Am. cheese, 1 wh.wheat toast (Yum)
          L.- At Panera Bread with hubby. 1/2 c. vegetable soup, 2 bites of chicken from salad & I closed up, NF Chai Tea Latte to go- lasted rest of afternoon
         D.- Back in the kitchen, about 1/2 c. beef stroganoff (Hamburger Helper) & 3 brussel sprouts
         Snax- 1 LF fudge bar
Now, on to Zumba! Happy Week-end to all!

 Kentucky
Got up drinking my water this morning and that always starts my day well.  Planning to work on my Zumba DVD today along with the treadmill and ab lounger.  (I said plan) LOL  Vitamins and water are not really an issue for me.  Getting the right food combinations and exercise is my trouble areas.  That being said, I'm working on it.

Ok, I'll start today.  I really am getting stronger & eating better. On Thursday, I had:
B. 1 egg over light, 1 slice Amer. Cheese, 1/2 piece Wheat toast, 2 c. hot tea
L. Quiche, fair, out to eat, maybe 1/3 c. total of egg, cheese, onions, etc. 1/4 c. veggie soup
D. 1/2 c. chick. noodle soup, later - yogurt
Snax- 1 sf popsicle, 1 lf fudgesicle TOMORROW, I'll tell you about Friday's eating which gets more exciting PLUS some good exercise.

I would add to the post, but...Im still on liquids..soo..as of now, I am surviving on the many forms of flavored water and protein...not too much excitement here...lol
