There is a lady from Indiana that started a group on OH, called the Evansville In group. On that site they have a list of dates, on their blogs, for the meetings in Evansville. They have it one month at St Marys and the next month at Deaconess.
I am going to try to go to all I can, because I have hit a 2 month stall by eating all the things I shouldn't. I know need help, and I suppose to an extent, we all need help and support. Send me a message if you need to know more....John
i'm in ashland where the medical center this week cut 80 jobs and 'reduced' (fewer hrs) more than 100 more jobs. there are rumors flying like crazy but not alot of solid information in the news as of yet.
i am 2 months into my 6-month pre-surg (lap band) and really want to get a surgery date this year due to work schedule, deductibles, copays, etc. would just work better for me to do in 2010 than wait. i'm nervous all the reductions at the hospital will have an impact how things progress for me, don't want any delays, etc.
there are other certified centers nearby (in wv) if i need to find another surgeon or should i just relax and 'wait and see?'
my month #3 visit is next week. any advice from anyone in the ashland area? Thanks!
try to stay cool down there, hope you are doing well, sounds like you are doing awesome, hope Michael is doing well also, tell him I said hello, I ended up have emergency surgery sunday night, my bowels was twisted, dr. Tompkins operated on me, I am doing good now, found out, I coulda died, that wasn't good. lol. take care and let me know all your wedding plans, my oldest son got married today in Pigeon Forge, bummer, I didn't get to go, talk to you soon, love ya, Lisa
