yea i was thinking the same thing... maybe they are just giving a for sure date and possibly he'll surprise us and be back sooner lol

oh no that sucks. i didnt have a date yet but my next appt was going to be my date so i cant even imagine what you guys feel like. I was upset when i heard as well but once i got off the phone with devin i realized i didnt even ask about dr steeb and i felt so bad. hope everything is all ok for him and hope we hurry to get back on track. sorry for ya'll terrible news

 I have not been on this site in a while...since having my surgey in July and losing upwards of 60 lbs, I know have a social life again!!! Dr. Steeb was my surgeon, I have my procedure done July 7, 2009 at University Hospital and he is he bomb!!! He was very avaliable for all my questions and concerns and he even sat with me when I woke up in ntensive care. La. Medicaid did pay for my surgery and I did not have any problems at all getting the surgery approved. Day of surgery I was 268 and today I am 205 ish, but I dont run to the scale that often. I look at my clothes size which is down about 5 sizes and I walk the mall without ever needing to sit for a minute and rest. My eating habits have changed, I can still eat basically what I want, but not in the portions that I want, and that helps a lot. Because now I have the willpower to turn away food.
