I don't know about Monroe, but I'm in slidell and can't find anyone that takes Medicaid. Teresa C suggested a dr at ochsner earlier so I'm hoping that works. Good luck and I hope you fun someone near you. 

Hi, I am in Louisiana.  I am in need of WLS desperately!!  I have an appointment with my primary doctor who will refer me for the surgery.  I am wondering how do I get Medicaid?  I know she will probably explain it to me next week but I am very curious.....  

Can any of you give me any sort of an idea how it will work?
