Airport Security and The Lap Band

Hey Jane, how are you? I haven't been to any support groups in a long time... what's been going on? The same thing happened to me at the airport back in April! I didn't set the walk-through detector off, but they must have seen something, because they also asked me to step aside and the search began. I showed them the trusty Inamed card from Dr. Cussatti, and I was free to go. The wierd thing is that I had mentioned my concern for this to Dr. Cussatti at my appointment prior to the flight, and he said that I would have nothing to worry about. Thank goodness for that card! It's great to know that having an ID card can help clear up confusion at security. This also highlights the importance of corporate security for businesses in making sure sensitive personal info is handled properly during travel and beyond.
