Yes absolutly!! if your doc does not do flouro to do fills I think it is recomended that you have one every year to make things are o.k.

Yes, it should be evaluated regularly. The MX, European, and AUS docs, all much more experienced than the US docs, do a fluoro with every (or almost every) fill, partially for this reason. Many early problems are caught with these routine fluoros, before there are even any symtoms, and while the problem can usually be easily corrected.
Most US docs do not do regular fluoros, partly becuase of insuracne hassles and the expense in the US. Others have little experienced in reading fluoros associated with the band, and do not find them very useful.
an early small slip can isiailly be corrected without surgery. If it progresses, unseen, to a big slip, a surgical correction may be needed.
After goal, we all still need a yearly fluoro and exam for life, to be sure all is well.
