Melissa, TY for replying..I am begining to think that come next Tuesday when I go see the nutritionist I will also see the NP to get some taken out. Seems almost all I can eat right now is tuna that has gone through the food processor! Michele

melissa, when you're pregnant, your body releases a hormone that relaxes your pelvis. it also relaxes everything else.  that could be why you needed more restriction while preg.

Michele, why in the world don't you want some out if you are so miserable, and since too-tight fills can cause all kinds of serious trouble???? Please never think that "weight loss at any cost" is the way to go. If you cannot eat small meals of 1200-1500 calories and including solid protein, you will not lose well, and will get into trouble. If you ar forced to go back to soft and liquid foods to survive, you will not lose, and many regain. the band works only with solid foods. Having to exist on soft foods is called the "soft food syndrome" and is a clear sign that you are too tight. Banding is NOT supposed to be about pain and misery. Pain means SOMETHING IS WRONG . Please listen. We should not even know the band is there most of the time.  Of course 1.7 can be too much! I have many people who are perfect qt less than 1.0 cc.  It doesn't matter a bit if your fill person has NEVER seen anyone needing less than 1.7 - if YOU DO. Your needs are yours and anyone elses' has absolutely no bearing on it.

Pain means touble and damage and i hope you will not wait to get some out.

hi Sandy, I did not mean I woud not take it out if I needed it. I just am hoping it isnt a game of taking 1 CC out and then addng .5 back it etc etc. I will get it out if  by Tuesday it is not better, I do not believe in weight loss at any cost. It is at least a total of 5 hrs for me to go to the Drs, have the visit and get back to Maine and while I do not mind that because I have the faith I need to have in them, I cannot afford to be taking that much time off from work snce I have no vacation or sick time at this point. That is one reason we are going back to the soft foods for just a few days and then re-introducing more solids. By Sat I will reintroduce solids. That gives me 3 days  before I have to go there to see the NUT and to see how it is going and by ALL means I will get some taken out if I need to. Thanks for replying!!! Michele

Hi Michele, I was thinking that I was odd (ok, odder) because I was having tightness issues at 1.5 cc. In the group chat, Dr. C assured me that everyone has a different "point" of maximum fill and it could be 1 cc or .5 cc.  1.5 cc is definitely too tight for me. Frances
