Ramen Noodles versus Pasta
I eat pasta with no problem but I choose whole wheat pasta or Dreamfields Healthy Carb Pasta. I wouldn't reccomend Ramen Noodles because they are off the charts high in fat and calories as well as sodium so theyre not really a good choice.

Pasta is fine IF you can tolerate it. I couldn't eat it for the first year post-op but now can - carefully. Ramen noodles have nothing healthy to recommend them so unless you're in a jam I'd skip 'em.
LOVIN' my band!

Aren't Ramen noodles fried? If you can eat pasta how about the whole wheat or multigrain- great tasting and good for you! Simple carbs (white stuff) = SUGAR.
What you can eat as a bandster depends on you and your adjustment level. Some bandsters can eat anything just limited portion sizes when they are at their proper adjustment. White pasta is not great for anyone.

Pasta is one of those YMMV (your mileage may vary) foods. I eat pasta, but I opt for low carb varieties (the only "low carb" product I use because it's a good source of fiber) or whole grain.
Ramen noodles, unless you get them freshly made (so I'm going to assume you mean the little packs from the grocery store) are egg noodles, then basically deep fried during the process to get them into those little packets. Much higher calorie per serving. Tolerance-wise, probably not much different than spaghetti.
