I need a fill
I really need a fill and I can't wait until May 14th because that's when I get another one. I have read all the posts about people who have gotten their first fill but could still eat to much. I thought, "there's no way that you could get a fill and still eat" but I was WRONG!!! I feel like I can eat way more than I should be able too! Is this normal? Tonight we went to an Italian restaraunt. I ate most of my side salad and a little lasagna but I still felt like that was TO MUCH!!!!
Please tell me this is normal!!!!

Normal.
The bandster hell saga continues for you as it does for many after the first fill. IMHO, this is the hardest thing about the band.
I don't know your fill history, but if your doc gives fills too quickly, he increases the risk that you'll suffer a band erosion. That's way worse than being hungry and it's a risk I'm sure he wants to avoid.
My doc gives a first fill after about 6 weeks and a second after 4 more.
Hang in there.
1st fill 6wks post op
2nd fill 2 weeks later
3rd fill 2weeks later - next friday
I think my next fill will put me at a good spot for awhile. I had to call my doc's and ask for a fill sooner because I was starving all of the time. I'm glad that my doc allowed it. When I saw him for that 2nd fill, I asked what happens if I can still eat too much? He said I could come back in 2 weeks...and I am! Time to get the show on the road!
Best wishes!
