Or, at least, offering YOU the opportunity to do so. Here's how it works for you new kids: this is the once-a-week chance to air your grievances about whatever has frosted your shorts. Doesn't matter what it is: if it's got you irked, tell us about it. No personal attacks, especially about other OHers.  This is NOT the "Rants and Raves" board: NO ONE gets to flame another poster about something they said was bothering them. Our feelings are FEELINGS, not facts (not necessarily, anyway), so just let 'em flow, and let others do the same. If you think the post is "too negative" . . . see ya. Go read another post, or go outside to play, but leave those of us who need to vent our spleens alone to do it. I'll start you off with a quick one, then I have to get back to work. Have fun, and play nice. Today's complaint: Steri-strips! Why can't these groaty little *******s fall off already?? They are grubby, stained, and just plain gross. Ew.

I wish non custodial parents would pay their child support!!!! On time would be nice too. Where do they get off thinking we custodial parents get rich off their money. What a joke, $7 a day per child. Ya...I'm getting rich!     I also wish step parents would realize....they are not the parent and mind their own business!!!!!!!! The step mom is my case loves and lives for drama. She's nothing but a trouble maker! She needs to take care of her own kids and realize my kids are not hers!

Boy I love Wednesdays!  My gripes are the same as always...money, gas prices, and softball coaches.  Can I just say that they are two richard craniums   They play head games with the girls and publicly embarrass them, not even my daughter but it ticks me off.  Oh, did I mention that the idiots had bases loaded and called for the bunt...WTH   What's up with the oil prices, $121 per flipping barrel.  Get Real!  I'm also sick of politicans who are going to solve all of our problems.  Yeah right.  Tell me how millionaires, and I believe most federal politicians are, can relate to money problems.  I'm looking at $1500ish in car repairs, trying to figure out how I'm going to pay it.  What's $1500.00 to a person that make several million a year?  They can't relate to me and they can't fix all of the United States problems.  I have a great ideas on how to save the US....welfare limit, people don't need to make a career out of welfare.  Also, if you're on welfare you shouldn't be allowed to have more kids.  If you can't afford to support yourself why bring a child into the world?  Also, quit selling oil as a commodity!  We can also stop taking care of other countries and take care of our own for awhile.  Do away with some of government and quit paying for stuff for former presidents.  How many of us would leave our job and still have the company taking care of us...not many!  I also say we need to crack down on illegal aliens.  I don't know that we have to deport but why don't we make it that they can stay if they pay a certain amount for a permit or certificate.  Get these people to pay their proper share of taxes.  We also need to tackle the health care system.  Everything is so out of whack.  Between the crazy lawsuit, high insurance premiums, and ridiculous salaries.  The lawyers, insurance companies, and medical directors should all be sent to a private island and figure out how the all affect each other and what they are going to do about it.  There is my problem solving for the day!   Now I"m onto money...not enough of it.  Do I need to say more?  Oh, my tax stimulus...stupid me I assumed that I put my hubby's ssn first, like I have every other year.  His last 2 numbers are 17 BUT no, this year I did mine first.  My last 2 digits are 99.  Can it get any worse than 99?!?!?!  I was on hold yesterday with the IRS for 27, yes 27, min. just so they could tell me that.   I always feel so much better after "letting it all out."  Thanks for reading!!!!

Teenage girls and softball - My daughter coach decided not to coach again this year so I was offered the coaching position, which I took to ensure that the girls could continue to have a fun, safe activity to participate in. Why do they bother to sign up and have their parents pay $70.00 not to mention all the time that I take off of work during the season (conveinently games start at 5:30 and I have to be to the field by 5pm - I wor****il 5 and its 30 min from my work to the field) if they aren't going to show up or look miserable when they do!!! And don't get me started about the parents!!!! All coaches are CORI'd before they are allowed to coach and we are notified of any level 3 sex offenders in the area - well guess what. One just moved into our very small town. I have pictures and need to be on the look out to make sure he doesn't appear at any of the games. This being said - it has always been my policy to wait with the girls after a game until the parents that don't bother to take an interest in their childrens activities come to pick them up. I have two sisters who were the only ones left on Sat after the game so I was waiting with them. They told me that their brother has games at the same time as them so their parents never come to see them - so here I am feeling bad already. Their Mom pulls up and they get in the car, she rolls down the window and says "You don't have to wait with them". My mouth must have hit the ground - sex offender in area and she wants me to leave two 13-14 year old girls alone for 20 minutes in a public place. All I could say was "its my policy to stay with them" - I wanted to beat her with a bat!!! OK I'm done for now!!

Katelynn's coach is the high school varsity coach.  He plays head games with the girls.  He calls them on their cell phone to talk about the players and not just about their playing ability.  Every other day he threatens to bench them.  He will then pit them against each other and wonders why they can't play together.  He is a drama queen!!!!!!  The stress is unbelievable that he puts these girls under.  I don't know what he gets out of it.  Luckily she has a great travel ball team.  I think she's done with high school softball...which is really sad because she used to love the game.
