Did anyone ever take PhenFen??

I took Phen fen and it was like a magic cure.  I could look at food and say, wow that looks delicious and not want to eat it.  However, I laid in my bed at night waiting to die.  After 3 days I got chest tightness and stopped taking the pills.  I tried again a few months later at 1/2 dose and got the chest tightness again on the 3rd day.  I said to myself, "if I am willing to die, shouldn't I be willing to diet??"   I flushed them down the toilet.

I took Phentermine on and off for about a year. Lost 68 pounds in 5 months.Then stalled. Tried everything to restart weight loss but nada..Gained back 15 over 3 months lost 12  in 1 month. Yoyo'd for several onths. I have not taken it in 1 year and slowly gained back all but 10 of th 68 I originally lost.I am being banded on the 28th Hopefully this will give me the full feeling ( after I hit my sweetspot) I had with Phentermine and hopefully I wil be able to fight the head hunger......that's the hard part. Yep, back in the day I took it. I lost tons of weight, almost too much according to my doctor. I was losing 15-20 pounds a month. I was on it until they pulled it. I gained the 80 pounds I lost and then some. I loved the way it made me feel. I would be eating something and it was like a switch in me that said, "Ok, you're done." It is kinda similar to what I go through now. When I'm done, I'm done.
