What is your favorite "healthy" cracker?

I used to eat Ry-Krisp crackers.  They taste like mildly-seasoned, toasted cardboard.  There was absolutely no temptation to overeat them.

I'd like to try something else that's healthy (low fat, high fiber) that might have more flavor than Ry-Krisp.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jean

I LOVE Kashi fire-roasted vegetable crackers.

And not so good for you, multi-grain Ritz.

Kashi Stoneground 7 Grain crackers are delicious.  The only trouble is I have a hard time controllng myself with them.  Yesterday I bought  Almondina crackers/cookies at Whole Foods - and they are like very thin biscotti - absolutely delicious and low in cals, high in fiber, etc.  They have more sweetness to them than the Kashi crackers.

Hi Jean....
Something that my DH and I absolutly love is Reduced fat French Onion Wheat Thins....they are excellent and you can have 16 of them per serving!!

My mother-in-law likes the Pepperidge Farm Wheat crackers....they are kinds like the wheat thins....I can't remember the exact name, but I know that they are Pepperidge Farm.

We are all three banded, so we have tried to find different things and ideas to give each other for healthy snacks!!

Another thing.....my DH and I love the Crisp and Light Wasa crackers....we put a thin layer of peanut butter and SF jelly  on them.....tastes just like toast with PB and jelly (I can't have bread, so totally does the trick!!).....just a suggestion!!!

I try not to keep anything too good around....or I will eat them too often. I like the whole grain Wasa with tuna or chicken salad.

I eat WASA bread (crackers) daily with my lunch.  It helps me get some fiber & they only taste ok with food on them, so there is no temptation to over eat them.

*hugs*
