I had surgery at 12:30 pm and was home by 4:30 pm.    My surgeon does all his as outpatient unless he discovers an issue during surgery.

Checked in at 9:30, surgery at 11:00 and home by 4:00.  Had to drink some water over a few hours and walk in the recovery room and then I was on my way.

Mary, I had to stay overnight but I knew this from talking to my doctor. Call and ask what the policy is and if that's their requirement.
Good luck!

My surgeon requires an overnight stay. I was in ICU because I am a chronic asthmatic and they wanted to closely monitor my breathing.
