Nutrition Label IQ Test
How do things get labelled in the US? We have this system of colours and percentages. Almost all packaged foods are marked with fat, salt, calories and sugars. Red means bad, orange means OK and green means good. There is a figure for the % of recommended daily intake for that particular serving. They have to use one of the labels below. Most use one which shows the % RDA - probably the most helpoful ones.

Kate
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Ours look like:

Very exciting....
The thing that bothers me the most about the nutritional info is the serving size.
Cereal, for instance. A serving of one could have 100 calories and pretty decent nutritional info, which sounds pretty good, then you realize they consider a serving 1/2 c. Which is OK for us banders, but what NORMAL person is gonna eat only 1/2 c. Another shows 110 calories per serving, and a serving is 1 c. Can we say standardize!
Another pet peeve is the small crystal light packets. The box says 5 calories per serving. Read on. A serving is only half a packet. Not that big a deal, but why don't they just package it in one serving packets.
Here is my article and you do not have to be a member to read it. :)
There is a lot of good info there, but our label is not near as nice.
