Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I love the story of St. Patrick (http://www.catholic.org/national/national_story.php?id=27208). It is all about mercy and forgiveness. I think we need to remember both of these elements in our weightloss journies as well. At least, I know that I do. I am still struggling without any restriction and battling the extra 6 pounds that I have gained since the dr emptied my band. The good news is that it is not more than six pounds and that this Friday I get my upper GI done and hopefully Monday, I will get a fill! I am so excited and nervous. I hope that the upper GI goes well and that I can get the fill with no problems next week. I WILL be back on the losers bench soon. I am SO determined!

So, how did everyone do?

Happy St. Patty's all!

I knew that this week wasn't going to be a good one. Once again I hit the ice cream a couple times and the scale reflected such. I didn't gain any though so I'm ok with it.

Challenge start weight: 191.2
Current weight: 186.4
Weight loss: .2 pounds this week (4.8 challenge total loss/10.2 to go for challenge goal)

A Happy St Paddy's Day to one and all!!!!
No weight loss for me this week. I actually gained 0.6 pounds. I got my first fill yesterday yeah!!!!I am not expecting a whole lot from this fill but hopefully it will help a little. I had a few slip ups with my intake ( to much ) the end of last week. Hopefully the visit to the Md and the fill will be enough of a kick i the butt to get me back on track so to speak.
Overall I am down6.5 since challenge start. Not quite on track to my goal but still a n overall loss so I am happy with that!!

I start on April 1. I am so excited! I am hoping that all of my band issues are resolved by then. I want to be totally focused and prepared.

well, I get myself frustrated w/ what I feel is slow loss. Then, I look at the total since the beginning of this challenge & realize that I need to be patient. *sigh* Patience is a virtue, right?? haha

Anyway, This week I'm down 2 pounds. I'm happy about it, don't get me wrong. The scale has just been playing with those 2 pounds for a couple weeks so I don't like to call it a true loss until it's there for a couple days. But it's held steady at 218 so we'll say -2 more pounds.

So total challenge loss is 6 pounds. 19 more to go! I truly hope I meet this goal because it will put me in onederland for mothers day. Nothing could be sweeter, right??

Hang in there everyone. Have a great week & Happy St. Patty's day!!
