Lisa, I am so happy for you. You've reached one of the biggest goals all of us want to attain. I can definitely understand why you are teary-eyed. I know I will probably be as well when I reach that point. Keep up the momentum and I'm sure we'll be hearing very soon about another milestone in your weight loss journey!

Congratulations Lisa!

Not only do we share a name, you weighed exactly what I weighed at my highest and you have lost what my goal is to lose!  May I ask how tall you are and what your goal weight is?

I'm 5'9" and my goal is 195.  Once I get there I may try to get to 175 if my body will allow it and look good.  I kind of just set my own goal so I'm curious.

Your results are amazing in just over one year!  You have every right to be excited and teary!  This is hard work and you are a winner!!

All the best!

Hey Lisa,
The day I went below 200 pounds was the first time I got rid of some of my FAT CLOTHES. I am now 21 pounds below that and I haven't looked back! You are proof positive that the Band does work and all the DSers and RNYers and all the other (better WLS than band) people should read your post.
You have had an awesome journey and I know you will reach your goal soon, as will the rest of us here.

Lisa, I am 5'7", and I know that I carry my weight a lot differently than most people.  I am currently in size 12 bottoms and M shirts.  There is no way in heck I thought I would be wearing those sizes at 199 pounds!  My goal (in perfectland) would be to be at about 170.  I don't know that my body will let me do that; we will see.  I always said that my goal was to get under 200 and everything else was gravy.  I think that i was just saying that because I never thought I would actually make it under 200.  We'll see where we go from here.... I'm going to keep doing the bootcamp and the couch to 5k and keep up the same number of calories and see where it takes me!
