Today is my wedding anniversary (5 years) so Thurs-Tues my husband and I are going to my Mom's family's lake house on the MA/NY border. I am looking forward to relaxing, reading, kayaking, and swimming!

Well, we were gonna have a BBQ at the lake, but it's been cancelled because of the wildfires. They're not near us, but the air is so smoky no one really even wants to go outside.

Instead, we are having a few of our best friends over and we're just going to grill at my house.

Well Monday is DHs birthday so Saturday Im taking him out for a night on the town. I really want him to BBQ on Monday but its mean to ask him to do that on his b-day. But mostly this weekend is about cleaning the house, its just 3 people here I dont know how it gets so dirty, probably something to do with a 2 year old
