Hi...So I have been stuck at only losing 25lbs since my surgery...but yesterday I had a huge non scale victory...

I went out of town and packed all wrong..it ended up being hot as crap.  All I had was jeans.  I had my boyfriend take me to the mall and with ZERO plus size stores in sight I went to the Gap.

I walked out with a beautiful dress Size LARGE!!!!
YES no X's required..lol Im not squeezing..as a matter of fact it fits perfectly!! Im soo darn excited

Well Hot DAMN!  Great job, woman!
Yes, don't remember that during the times that the scale doesn't budge, you're more than likely losing inches.

Boy, do I dream of the day I can have the experience you did.  It looks like your band-day was July 17th so you are really doing well!

Congratulations.

way to go NSV are cool, don't worry about the scale it will move.

for me the NSV moments are better because at those times it means that I am now able to do something that I was previously unable to do, like play catch with my son and not get to winded from chasing the ball, or walking further around the lake holding my wife's hand and being a family again. it's these things that keep me going, as for the scale, well it can't hold my hand or give me hugs, or make me chase a ball, all it can do is sit in the corner and wait till I say it's time to come out and then if it doesn't tell me what I want to hear I just bend down and say hello to my toes and think man how cool is this what will I be able to do next, only time will tell.

Thanks for your post..because I just did a big ***** fest post about me not losing pounds.  NSV are great...I just wish the scale reflects how I feel or that size large dress...

But I am sooo able to do things that I havent before...I think my boyfriend appreciates those things alot more too..lol
