Are you getting enough fluids and not drinking right before, during, or after meal times?

I have some days where I can eat just fine, then I'll have a  bad day.  What I've noticed is that the days I get a lot to drink seem to be better eating days.  I think  it keeps everything loosened up.  My band tightens up a lot overnight, to the point some mornings I even have a hard time getting yogurt to go down.

Someone recommended drinking warm/hot liquids in the AM, and this really helps.

Good luck.  If you continue to have problems, I'd check with your doctor.

I'm the same way.  Sometimes I can eat OK and other times barely any food makes me PB.  I've been trying to be good about throwing up, but when I'm in pain, I can't take it and off to the toliet I go.

It does sound like you're a bit too tight if you can't eat that much protein - especially if you're chewing well, going slowly and taking small bites.

I had to get an unfill after not having a fill in like 8 months.  Not sure what happened, my band just got tighter!  Strange little thing.

Have you talked to your Dr.?

Kristen

Thinking yes - depends on time.  If it's after working hours, definitely!  If not, then it gets a bit more complicated.

Did you want to work out a plan?  I can definitely make some suggestions!

Hugs,
Kristen

It sounds like you are actually too tight at the moment. But that can be temporary. For me stress does it every time - whether it be anger, fear, unhappiness, eager anticipation! Any strong emotion which lasts any length of time. I go back to teaching tomorrow and I am not at all nervous - a job I know well, kids I know, staff I work well with and all my preparations are done. But I still couldn't eat tonight!

Can you drink OK? Being dehydrated also makes me feel tighter. Allergies? Head cold? Humidity?

I had the same problem...kind of out of the blue I was really tight.  I called my doctor - he recommended a slight unfil (.2) and suggested a water pill.

Even though you haven't had a fill in quite a while there are things which can have an effect on the band in some. TOM is the most common along with sinus problems and stress. If this continues and if you cannot keep down fluids then a unfill may be in order. Sounds like you may be too tight.

At the least you need to let your Surgeon's office know about the vomiting........vomiting is never good.
