How long do you wait between bites?

My doc's office says you should be finished eating within 1/2 hour so if I waited between bites, I wouldn't be eating much!

I don't wait at all - I just make sure I've chewed the food and it's gone down and then proceed onward.

I'm just like Krista.  I don't wait and I don't chew to a pulp.  I eat normally until I either feel full or finish my 1 cup meal portion and then I stop.
