Cyn, I really want to give you the last word, but I just have to clarify before I retire, look over the thread. I have called myself stupid, dumb, let someone call me a butthole and proceede to agree. I've said I'm sorry, I was wrong, Please forgive me , in every way possilbe way and those are just the public messages. So you think I haven't admitted wrong enough? Okay, I'm sorry for being a jerk.
I said it you way. Am I more sorry now.
Man, I feel sorry for the person who crosses you by mistake. Did you ever make a mistake?
As for attacking my faith, that's precisely what you meant to do. See, you're not the only one who can read minds.
Mr. T? Please............
Rockie, maybe, but Mr. T. He's been out!

I believe you that you're sorry. Just know that there is a difference between "I'm sorry you're pissed" and "I'm sorry I pissed you off."
About that churchy stuff you quoted me "I can gladly answer your question about the world I'm from with, thank God, not this one. One to come, where spirits of the air can no longer twist truth, Glory to God!"
That came at the end of a paragraph, out of the blue. I have no idea where it came from, nor do I know what it has to do with what we were talking about, nor what it means in general. I thought it was a very bizarre thing to say to me. You might as well laid some Greek on me or pulled a rabbit out of your hat.
Because I didn't understand it, and asked you if you were speaking in tongues, you think I'm bashing your your religion and attacking your faith? C'mon. You're not really that sensitive, I hope. It was a weird (aka F'ed up) thing to say to me, admit it. It had ZERO to do with the conversation. If we were having a disagreement standing in line at a grocery store, you'd not square off, put your hands on your hips and all of a sudden start spouting off scripture to me, right?
I'm assuming you understood the Mr. T reference (I pity the fool...). If so, you earn bonus points for at least having a sense of humor.

You know what, Cyn. In real life, in a grocery store you wouldn't be as bold as you are here and we may even strike up a conversation about the price of beans. But here, you feel you can get your kicks by stepping into someone elses battle and spout off like you know my heart and intentions. You must be pretty bored.
As for the "church stuff" it's not scripture, you asked me what world I was from. When I answered you, you got all confused, so I'm clearing that up for ya. People who stir up trouble and lies have no part in the Kingdom of God. I pray that I will be redeemed by the power of Jesus Christ. You see, in and of myself, this is where it all ends in a sick little battle where no one wins. I know that you never asked me to forgive you for how you have hurt me tonight, but I do. Because I have been freely offered forgivness when I don't deserver it. In and of myself, I am nothing. This kind of humilation and critism is nothing compared to what my Savoir endured on the cross.
Now the lion's den has quited down and the fun is over why don't we just go on to sleep and think about how this thread could have been different had I not over dramatized my experience and others hadn't enjoyed watching the show .
The Mr, T reference, yea, I get it and if you had a sense of humor you would have used it when you read the OP instead you choose to ride the train and play along. You, like everyone else here knew full well what was and was not intended by the OP.
Since this was obviously "a game" to you. You won, I don't want your bonus points.

So, if I look through your posting history, I'm not going to fine you responding to anyone else's battle, because that would be high Christian treason, being a hypocrite, right? And, you never answered me, you WOULD out of the blue start preaching to someone in a line at the grocery store? Usually when something like that happens, the men in white coats are called out. Beware!
"People who stir up trouble and lies have no part in the Kingdom of God."
So, I hope your posting history only shows you being sweetness and light, because it would suck for you to be locked out of the Kingdom of God. Talk about embarrassing!
"I know that you never asked me to forgive you for how you have hurt me tonight, but I do."
I hurt you? Are you kidding me? LOL Really? God sure made you fragile and childlike. A pity.
"This kind of humilation and critism is nothing compared to what my Savoir endured on the cross."
Now you're creeping me out.

Truth creeps you out? Go on and find Mr. T, LOL. You'll find much enlightment in your search to discover a mean post in my history. Let me save you the trouble, one will not be found, not because I don't ever do anything "wrong" and I'm afraid to be "locked out of my kingdom", but because I don't resort to games and cruelty, not because of any good thing in me. I'm no good at all; but because of Him that dwellth in me. I came here to give and get help as I recover from obesity. But, even if I did post a mean word, I know where to find genuine forgiveness making me human, not perfect, but forgiven.
I'm sorry that some random Christain must have hurt you at some point in life. And just for the record, I preach in grocery lines, school yards, in school suspension rooms, OH sites, hospitals, airport; whereever the Lord gives me courage to speak you on His behalf and I'm not ashamed to do so.
I'll be the scape goat for every Christ believing, bible preaching soul that ever hurt you and say what he/she should have said if they had know the wounds that they'd caused you. I'm sorry, Cyn. Sorry for all the pain you've been through. I'm sorry for the people who've injured you and me too as far back as my childhood and the sick and twisted things that were done to me and every other innocent child. There is only one source that brings the "peace that surpasses understanding" (now that's scripture) and His name is Jesus Christ. By way of His mercy and grace I can forgive and be forgiven.

Well, if we really want to get honest with ourselves, what Christ experienced on the cross doesn't even compare to what a pancreatic or bone cancer patient experiences. The two do not compare. The cancer patients experience far worse than Christ did. Assuming he existed.
At least the experiences of Christ ended in a very few short days. Cancer patients endure far worse for months and years.
Seriously, I think it is fair to put things in their proper perspectives.
More often than not, I read these posts without participating...for the pure entertainment value of them. It is interesting to see adults behaving in such a manner.
That being said, I take great exception to your post. How can you tell her she's not really sorry? That's quite unfair. Your posts (as I read them throughout the thread) seem to be written with the sole intention of being inflammatory. Not nice. It's okay to disagree with one another, but do so appropriately, please. Perhaps you could have told her that you don't believe she is really sorry. And calling her an idiot was quite out of line. Again, not nice.

I guess I'm going to have to repeat myself:
She did NOT say "I'm sorry I offended you" but instead said "I'm sorry if my post offended you." She didn't say she was sorry for saying something offensive but that she was sorry IF she was offended by your post. HUGE difference. In one, you take ownership, in the other, you put it on her. Subtleties aren't your strong suit either, I can tell.
I'm sorry you take great exception to the post. (How does that feel when I say that? Like I've sincerely said I'm sorry? No? Then maybe you finally understand)
