Thick Mucus in back of throat...any thoughts???

Since this posting I have been having that "gunk" in the back of my throat everytime I eat. I have an appointment on monday for a possible fill but I am wondering what this means. I have some mucinex but I am afraid to take them since they are soooo big. I dont have heartburn or any pb and I am not sure if this is sliming.

Hey my band twin, its funny I had this the other day and thought well maybe it sliming beacuse I ate my turkey sausage to fast. It did away so maybe thats its but Iknow just what u are talking about.

So I went to the doc yesterday and found out it's either strep or some other virus....

I'm on arithromyzin and hopefully my throat should feel better.   The doc seems to think the mucus is allergy related so I will tackle that after I'm done with the antibiotics.
