Anyone prescribed etodolac?

My podiatrist prescribed etodolac for my planar fascitis. Im taking 1000mg once a day. Ive looked it up and that seems to be the max dose. My pain gets so bad that at times I can barely walk. The meds are helping.

The problem is...IVE GAINED 5 lbs. Not like ive been eating like a hog. Actually hopped on the scale cause ive been eating well and thought I could be down a lb of two.

AGGGHHH! Im not taking it today. Just Advil.

I have Plantar Fascitis also.  It has gotten a bit better with weight loss.  My doctor prescribed some kind of steroids about a year ago.  That didn't work.  I wonder if these are steroids?  They do tend to make you hungry and cranky.

I think I will pass on the etodolac.   But thanks for the heads up.
