Well... here goes!!

It has been a year and 4 1/2 months since I had my lapband placed. This morning I got on the scale and I am offically 101.8 pounds down since starting this journey and 94.8 pounds sincebeing banded. I have to say that this is one of the best decisions that I have every made for myself. I thought that it would take me longer to lose this much but it did not. I realize that I am one of the few because that does not happen for all but I am super happy that I decided to to go through witht he surgery.

I have never been a big fan of taking pictures. I think the fact that I was so overweight played a major role in that decision. However, I am going and taking mommy and me pictures with my daughter tomorrow. She will be 13 years old in June and the last time I took a picture with her she was 1 week old.

I can not wait. For everyone that feels like it will never happen for them just try to be patient. It will happen when it is your time. Good luck everyone.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience. This is a journey and a major challenge. Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!
