I was born in 1962 and set a record for the hospital at that time for the longest baby born there, 23.5 inches!  I also weighed a whopping 10 lbs 4 oz!

I was born in Iowa in 1982. I weighed 10 pounds 11.5 ounces. I blame my weight on the fact that I was born fat and never got a chance.. LOL... Ok, that was supposed to be funny... but I really was that big when I was born, and from the pictures I've seen, I was a HUGE baby.

I was born May 1958 was apreemie 3lbs 1oz they didn't think I would make it was always tiny until I started to work in ice cream parlor at 16 and then I found out I loved ice cam and we were allowed to eat what ever we went to without paying for it. What a great job I thought. At 16 I was 5'2 and 80lbs as I got older the weight just seen to come on easier and easier. But most of my faily are all over weight except for my one brother and Icome froma family of 7 kids.

My Mom was a smoker, back in the day when it was OK to smoke. LOL I was 3 weeks early and weighed 6 lbs 4 oz. I was a skinny kid, average teenager, didn't gain weight until I was an adult.
Mari  Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

3 lbs 14  oz.  I am a twin, and I also was premature.   You would think us tiny ones would always remain smaller with regard to weight.  No such luc****il I got my band.

6lbs 8 oz - full term born in 1977.

I was a skinny kid until a year after my first TOM (5th grade).  Then the weight just kept coming  on and my mom helped me with every fad diet out there.  My mom is heavy, my sister battles.  My grandmas are both heavy!  I am not going to be the "FAT one in the family" anymore thanks to my future band!

hugs,

Christina

You and I have similar stories!  I was also a preemie. I was supposed to be born very early September and was born last week of June, instead. One year different from your 1972.  I was 3lbs and 1 oz and was in an incubator for like a month, which jacked up my eyes.

Yet my pediatrician examined me not long after my release from the hospital and said I was going to be a "big" girl. He meant stocky/big boned, not necessarily fat, but I've been the fat kid all my life.  Huh. Odd.
