Revision

Has anyone in Manitoba ever been for a Revision?

No, I haven't but I'd sure like to ask the same question.  I had VSG over a year ago in Mexico and have only lost 50 lbs.  I'd like to look in to RNY surgery as it seems to be the most successful.  Have you had a revision?

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.. I have not had a revision but would love to get one to a DS. I had RNY in Jan 31, 2008. I lost 126 pounds. I then got pregnant and I am now up too 201 pounds and no matter what I eat or don't eat, I lose nothing. I am active and I loved the RNY. It just seems after my prenancy and the tubalagation and the problems with my C-Section, that it is no longer working. That it stretched and is now not working as a tool at all. I am back to doing whatever I can to lose weight like before the surgery. It is very frustrating.  My doctor is also in Toronto so it is not easy to see him.

Did you have yours here in Winnipeg?
