Cell phones in the Victoria Hospital

Does anyone know if we can use our cell phones, specifically a blackberry while we are in the Vic?

Referred March 2/11, Group Orientation Nov. 4 /11, Surgery date May 15/12 RNY

I used mine, I had it on vibrate, but I was txting and the nurses didn't say anything to me.

You can use your cell phone as long as you are not in the ICU as it interferes with their monitors. The Vic doesn't have unlocked Wifi BTW.
