Hi.
I just read the criteria that were posted under Crazy Cat Lady's post "devestated"...it states they accept referrals up to age 65. Since you are only 60, they should not refuse you because of your age, unless they aren't even following their own guidelines.

HW 270 (Sept 2011); surgery weight 236 (Feb 6, 2012); current 167 (103 lb lost); goal set by nutritionist 148 (ha ha!!). Vertical sleeve gastrectomy at Obesity Control Center (Dr. Ariel Ortiz), Tijuana, MX. Self-pay, self-referral, 4-week wait. Abdominoplasty Aug 10, 2013 (Dr. K. Dolynchuk, Winnipeg - self-pay)
Mike , you have been a lot of help and I appreciate your understanding. Please let me know when the next meeting is. Today I talked to PC Health Minister and they are going to check into things for me. Like they said everybody is problems are different and obesity is a problem and can be put on hold.

Thank you Mike, tonight doesn't work for me , but I will join you all at a future get together. I am going to take your advice and check out the MyfitnessPal site. I know that I need to get back on track with my eating as well......my metabolism seems to always be in "starvation" mode so I need to get it back to functioning some what normally. Thanks for the advice.....as a newbie I certainly want to hear from those farther into the program. Hopefully this old dog CAN learn new tricks!
