As someone who continues to work towards qualifying for surgery, you are VERY MUCH appreciated Sondra.
They also have the isopure and it moght be a cheaper price than other places for those who do like it. There are product reviews and the nutritional data for each product is listed. My favorite flavor is ice cream sandwich which has little chocolate cookie bits in it, however, I haven't been sleeved yet so we'll see if my new stomach still likes it once that happens.

Hope that helps some of you.
i just wanted to let everyone know that Andreas away for this week at dr vergis office until August 26.
Let's see.
Because of the weight loss plan I was placed on (less input, more output, more thought) I've lost 34 lbs since March.
Its been 3 days since my surgery (Monday, Aug 12th at 7:30 am). I was out of the hospital after a single night's stay for observation, I was off pain meds the next night. I POOPED YESTERDAY (proof positive things are working), and I've gone for several lengthy walks outdoors. I'd say my progress is quite remarkable. I'll get up to my required 10,000 steps per day very soon.
I'm feeling stiff around the belly, like there's a tight belt around my centre. The laparoscopic entry points hurt like mosquito bites, but that's it. When i get full from, say, consuming 125-250 ml of broth in 30 minutes I feel a bit tense inside. It subsides but I remain full for quite a while. I haven't experienced dumping syndrome.
I think the 2 weeks of liquid-only prior to the surgery was the most valuable preparation. Sometime between Saturday and Monday I will make the transition from liquids to puree. That will be a big test. My quantity will not change. I see myself living my life eating 250 ml of high protein food an hour for the rest of my days.
So, all in all I am feeling rather fine.
""I see myself living my life eating 250 ml of high protein food an hour for the rest of my days. """
I am hoping that is a typo ... seriously I didn't eat that much every hour before the surgery.

I didn't say I stopped. I said I am experimenting. You may move slowly to the next phase when you are tolerating the first and receiving the full amount of nutrition, which I am.
I think sondra is looking at the big picture. She's " been there , done that" and can see lots of mistakes that newbies often make. Trying to move too fast is a big one. Your body has been through a lot at this point. It's a marathon , not a sprint.
Dont try to do too much. Keep I mind your limitations . You are recovering from a big surgery . Give it some time .
Did the nut give you the ok to move to soft foods ( phase 3 , I believe)
try to remember your new pouch doesn't have the same nerves as eating solid foods , or too much at this point can be dangerous.
