Happy Wednesday Evening!

You have been a busy women. I'm glad you have no more pain and back to your gym routine. I have never done the bay bridge walk. Lived 5 minutes from it for 20 years...lol. Also my weight was an issue. How is it? I would love to do it so i can say I walked the bay bridge but scared it might be to much. Well glad you are doing good and let us know how our appt goes.
In the 20 years I've lived in Maryland I've probably done the bridge walk at least 10 times. The first time I was scared to death that I would have a panic attack and they would have to carry me off the bridge. I'm really ok with it as long as I keep moving and don't look over the edge .. at least don't look over for too long!!!
Maybe next year we can all do it together.
Hugs, mo
The bridge doesnt scare me just the walking. It said it takes at least 2 hours. I want to do it so bad but just scared that I may be getting ahead of myself. That is alot of walking. I was talking to Heather Mod-e and we said the same thing that maybe a bunc of us can go next year and get shirts made that say Losers...lol she is funny. I may do it this year. I have to think about it. Walking is alot easier for me these days but 2 hours I am not sure of.
Kelly,
You can stop and take breaks if you need to. Lots of people stop and sit down on the the bridge and lean against the side and eat lunch, or just relax a bit. We usually stop a couple of times to look out at the bay. The total walk from the time you get off the bus on the shore til you get back on the bus on this side is about 5 miles (4.3 or 4.6 miles of that is the bridge)

Yeah I guess you can walk it and stop peroidically. Do they have things there where you can but lunch and water. I read the thing on their websie and it said water and potty's but nohing about lunch. It also said no fanny packs whatever you bring has to be in a clear, see-thru package. So if they had something there I wouldnt have to find something clear to bring lunch and snack. It would be a huge wow moment for me if i did this. Thank you for answering all my questions
I walked the bay bridge the year my eldest was 1. It was a really nice day. As long as I initially stayed in the center of the bridge I was okay. After I felt grounded, I was able to walk near the edge and takein the view. It was really fun. Somewhere I have a certificate I had them give my son for walking the bridge.
