Frustrated!
I truly believe in what you say. But Both of these dr's are wonderful doctors. I never had an issue with the doctors or their practice. Unfortunately they went through a major turn around and the new people are not great. This has been something that's been going on for the past 3 months. I have called to talk to Dr. Von Rueden and left him a message so he can call me. I believe he is not aware of what is going on. He is an amazing surgeon and I think once he knows what's happening he will get to the bottom of everything.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Hi Barb -
Generally, I would agree. However, being one of DVR's biggest (smaller) fans, I have to disagree. The customer service of this office is most definitely NOT reflective of the care provided by the medical professionals. You will not find more caring doctors, nurses, therapists, etc., than in the GBMC Comp Office. They're working to right the wrongs and provide what all wls patients need!
Have a great day!
Tia
Thanks to everyone for their responses. One part of this that is bearable, is knowing people have traveled somewhat of the same path, and understand.
Last night was a support group meeting, and I stopped in the office on the way. Rose acted as if she was frustrated with ME, and said that she had refaxed the information on Tues. afternoon. Since I talked to the insurance company on Wed. afternoon, obviously they still aren't getting it. I truly believe that there is an issue with Aetna's fax machine. So, if that is the case, why wouldn't Rose call them while she is sending it to make sure that someone was acknowledging the receipt of it. When I worked in a doctor's front office, if I didn't follow up to make sure every document I had to send was received, I would have lost my job.
I did speak to DVR and his wife at support group last night. They are bringing back the issue to the office today. I get off of work at 2pm, and if Aetna still doesn't have my paperwork by then, I will go back up to GBMC and demand copies for myself. I will overnight them. I am also going to post a question on the website.
I will see at least Sloane, if not one or more of the docs this Saturday at the walk. I've got a mile to talk to her about what is going on and see if I can get her to join my squeaky wheel.
Thanks again everyone. I know there is no magic cure, but the support here helps more than I can say.
Hugs!
Kathy
