I'm scheduled!
Hi Michelle
Congratulations on your date and best wishes as your WLS journey continues!
Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Congrats!!
I was very excited right up until the morning of the surgery. I started getting scared while sitting in the waiting room at 5 am wondering what the hell I was doing to myself. I got even more scared when they called me into the back and had me change into my gown. Shortly after that, though, they insert the IV and then comes the magic lala meds they pump into you. I don't remember a thing after that except for waking up in the hospital bed.

That is great! We all get the willies just before surgery but this was a great choice, keep telling yourself that. I was scared and excited all in one, the last week I thought I would go nuts waiting for the time to get here. It will come soon, now is the time to get things ready. Best Wishes
Hugs Kristen
Congratulations in your surgery date!!! Yes it is very normal to feel nervous.
You will do great!
Best wishes on your journey!
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Michelle -
What a wonderful Christmas present to yourself!! And yes, it's perfectly normal to feel everything you're feeling and to even question your decision. The hardest part is done - you made the decision to have the surgery.
You'll be fine, but please feel free to come here with any questions or concerns.
