The basics HELP

Could someone tel me what the basics are. Everyone sems to say go back to basics. I need that  to be reminded of what the basics are. Hugs Elie

The basics to me mean getting your protein -my target is 75g a day-, drinking your fluids- about 96 oz a day for me, multi vitamin every day,chewing your solids thoroughly, no liquids before or after meals, exercising regularly- cardio focused-, and seeing your doc regularly.  I'm sure others will add to this. I am sorry I just read your last message to me so I am answering to this one instead. Going back to basics was explained to me as if you are early out from surgery.    Just like Mark said. Focusing in eating or taking your protein first then earing your veggies and keeping your carbs & fat intake at a minimum. Exercising drinking lots of fluids. Got to fitday.com and enter everything that you eat and drink all day.   Make sure to keep your carb intake less that 25%  Good luck and try to be accountable that always helps me.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Thanks Mo,   I started today and doing fine on it. Soup for dinner tonight. I sure hope this helps me. I also am going to go to WW this week. I'll let you all know how this works. Hugs Ellie
