I agree with both of the above responses with regard to Ranessa.  I called her on a Friday and she was able to see me the following Tuesday. She's very pleasant. I called one of the doctor's on the list provided by my doctor the first week in March, talked to receptionist and was told they'd get back to me.  Well after a day or so, I called Ranessa.  The first doctor actually called me back this past Wednesday!!   Needless to say, I told them that I've seen someone else.  Not very good patient service if you ask me.  Good Luck C

If you have Aetna it will only cost you your co payment to see Ranessa!!  She is awesome and very caring. Dr Von Reuden & Dr Moein were in the same practice but Dr Von Reuden moved to St. Agnes hospital. He did my surgery and he is an awesome surgeon. Dr Moein is awesome too! I woukd get all the test scheduled now so everything goes smoothly. Sometimes you can't get your tests scheduled right away. Good luck and best wishes on your journey.

Yup I have Aetna, but I just couldn't find here under my doctor list.  But I'm glad she take Aetna  As for scheduling the appointments, I think what I might do is call the offices that I most likely will have to visit and see how far out they are scheduleing their appointments.  As you said, so everything goes smoothly, but I also don't want the tests to be out dated.  Thanks for responding.

I have Aetna HMO and I only paid a 10 dollar copay to see her. If you do the 3 month multidiciplinary program your tests will not be out dated. It takes 6 months to get out dated. You are very welcome!

Yup, thats the one. I used to pay lower copays but I switched my plan.  As for where you live, I know exactly where the Duncun Donuts is by Ft. Meade.  I actually work on Ft. Meade.  I love living so close to my job.  Its great, no traffic in the morning....lol

Here, here for Ranessa!!!  I JUST LOVE HER!!  In fact, I've often told her that talking with her is like being with my girlfriends - except I have to pay her and she doesn't pour me wine!!!!  LOL!!! She is a gem!!!  And, more importantly, GETS us!!! Personally, I'd wait until your first appt. to see what tests your surgeon actually wants and go from there.  I have to be honest, I didn't have any problems getting in to see anyone, and if you do, maybe the surgeon's office would be willing to run interference for you.  AND, THIS IS IMPORTANT - Make sure if your surgeon's office gives you a suggested list, that those on that list take your insurance - you don't want any nasty "You owe us....." surprises! Good luck. Tia
