There is one in Carroll County that people started on the board.....I am in Frederick also and I have not been to the Carroll, although I have every intention.  I think they meet the 3rd wednesday of every month at the Westminster Library.

Thanks for spreading the word for us Jen! Yes...we have a group that meets at the Westminster branch of the Carroll County Public Library the 3rd Wed of every month, and we would love to have you join us! We are a pretty informal group, and we range from pre-op to a few years out, so you would fit right in!!!  I usually post dates/times/reminders on here, so watch for us! We would love to meet you! I just did the reservation for the small meeting room at the Westminster Library for June 18th, the meeting will be from 7 - 8:30, and I will post reminders with directions as the date approaches! Hi there, I don't know of any support group but I wanted to let you know that we are all here for you.  If you need to talk, vent or rant just post away.  We also have a daily post of the things we ate the day before to help us stay accountable.   Try to get back to basics to help you get back on track for the meantime while you are finding a support group to go to.   Please feel free to post away. I wish you all the best.

Thanks, I'm scheduled for an EGD tomorrow to see if I've stretched my pouch out or have a fistula. I think it's just too many carbs and thats why I'm hungry all the time. Hopefully Tomorrow will give me some answers and I can get back on track   Thanks

How did your EDG go?  I hope all is well.   Yes Carbs will always make you hungry and want to eat more carbs.  But if you up your protein and cut down on the carbs and when you do eat carbs make sure they are the good ones like multi grain and not the white carbs.  I notice when I stay away from all carbs I don't even get hungry as much and I do not snack often. Keep me posted on how everything went.
