Hey Brandi! 33 year of marriage is AWESOME!!!!  I'm glad everyone is supportive of you - a lot of people don't have that, and it's unfortunate, because it is SO important!!! Labor Day of 2005 was my first holiday post-op, and I was only about a month out, so while everyone else was eating salads, burgers and dogs, I enjoyed grilled shrimp (yeah, a real hardship!)  My first Thanksgiving and Christmas were a little different, but not so much that you would notice.  Of course, I filled up more quickly than everyone else, but actually, seeing everyone loading up their plates 2-3 times made me nauseous!!  I think I even ate a spoonful or two of pumpkin pie filling! So don't think life is going to change that dramatically - it will, but it WILL be for the better, it just takes time for your body and your brain to adjust.  Tomorrow, I may have a burger, although I don't do well with them, but in any case, I WON'T have a bun, I may have a hot dog sans bun, I may have half of each and the only salad (to me) worth wasting pouch space on is my Mom's homemade mac salad with shrimp, and I can't eat that much of it because pasta sits like lead in my pouch.  But you know what?  You'll find that it doesn't matter as much, and you will be able to focus on and be happy for the fact that your family is enjoying each others company.  So don't despair, life's only changing for the better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hum, I have floor duty today which is a bummer, no one buys real estate on a holiday weekend, and I hate that I have only lost 2 lbs in the last 20 days, and I hate that I have to drive someone to the Philly airport for a flight tonight, I guess these things defeat the purpose of this post but I will try to think really hard if there is anything I am thankful for this minute, ok here it goes.... 1. I'm thankful to be going home in a 1/2 hour. 2. I'm thankful dinner is alreally prepared (slow cooker). 3. I'm always thankful for beautiful weather,  and I did enjoy my bide ride this morning. I hope everyone else is enjoying a great holiday weekend!

Hey Mary! Sorry you had to work today - I never understood the real estate bosses - they would've been open on Christmas if they could have!!  You're right, NO ONE buys on a holiday!!! I love my crockpot!!  It allows me to actually fix real food not just junk!! See, you easily came up with 3 things, all you have to do is think about it!!!!  Have a safe trip to Philly! Tia

Today, I'm grateful for: 1.  That my Mom made it home safely from her SC trip (and brought me a present!!).  Happy and I really missed her!! 2.  That I got to go to the movies (the new Indy Jones), with my family.  We had a blast, the movie was great and Harrison Ford is STILL hot!!!  I LOVE movie popcorn!! 3.  That K and I got to spend some time together after the movies, enjoying passionfruit tea from SB and hitting Ulta (the makeup store), where K showed me what she wanted for her bday.  It all involved makeup - red lipgloss, blue fingernail polish and eye glitter!!!!!  That's my girl!! Hope you all enjoy whatever you have going on tomorrow! Tia

Today I'm thankful for: 1.  Beautiful Weather 2.  Shopping - summer clothes.  I needed shorts that didn't fall off! 3. That I didn't try on any bathing suits.  Why ruin the day! Have a great holiday everyone.
