Hey Maryland! I hope you haad a great weekend!
Good morning everyone! I hope you had a great 3 day weekend. My weekend was very busy. I went to visit my mother for her 80th birthday Saturday. My youngest son Geoff and the baby came with me. We got to town and checked in to the quaint old hotel about 4. We showered, dressed, changed and fed LP, and headed down to the little restaurant to meet the rest of my family at 6. My sister Tancia was there with her husband. As the rest of the family arrived, we were told Mom was having a rough time getting ready. As it turned out, my youngest sister had to call an ambulance for Mom. Her pulse ox was down to 62. They put her into high level care unit for 2 days. It appears that she had some type of fast acting respiratory infection. The scarey t hing is she almost had a heart attack. I had dropedd Geoff and the baby at the hotel after we had the birthday dinner, and went to the hospital with my sister. We stayed there for a few hours with Mom. We all met back at the hospital Sunday morning. She did get to see LP then.
On the way home from the mountains, N called me. She was upset and crying. She feared dying. She has so much going on for her right now. We talked on the phone for a few minutes and she calmed down. I picked her up when I got back into town and brought her home with me for the rest of the weekend. Luckily, the baby was a gem the entire weekend. He is sleeping through the night. He had smiles and laughs for everyone. This is the first time my family had seen him. Everyone was so impressed at what a good baby he is and how happy he was as each one held him. My little niece Ruby thought he was the Cat's Meow.
I did get to rest some at the end of the day yesterday. I napped and sat on my front porch sipping some good coffee.
How was your weekend! LOL I hope everyone had a great time.

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
Oh wow Aime,
I am so sorry that your Mom's 80th birthday get together did not go as planned. I am glad to read that she is ok despite of the major scare. I hope she continues to do better.
Glad LP was great all weekend with all the attention he got from the family. I know you must having been loving watching your grandson.
I took my grand daughter to the carnival here in Odenton and when I got on the train ride and the merry go round with her my eyes swelled up with the love I have for her. It is an amazing feeling something I can even describe with words.
Poor N is going through so much. I know she is very scared with just of the thought of what could happen to her. Poor girl.
Glad you got to rest some yesterday evening.
Love ya girl!
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
